Isaac & Sofee (Bonded Pair)
The AZWR has many dogs that are rescued every month; not all of them are able to be listed on the website. Our goal is to match each dog to the perfect family, so we encourage you to apply even if you don't see a weimaraner right now. Applicants on our wait list receive higher priority on dogs as they are rescued.
Isaac: Mature Male, unsure of exact age. Large Handsome boy about 80 pounds. Rescued when owner died and he was dumped with other canine friend in the desert, was picked up eating road kill. Thanks to Microchip, when scanned we were notified and received them back. He is devoted to partner, Sofee, who was dumped in the desert with him and they must stay together. He is an escape artist and needs to be secured. He is a people person who gets along with other dogs. Does NOT like cats. Has good energy and loves to run, would be good with jogger. Needs some basic training. Isaac is a sweet loving dog. Isaac is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations. Current medication: heart guard.
Sofee: Mix Breed, brindle colored. Unsure of exact age, weighs about 50 pounds. Rescued when owner died and she was dumped with other canine friend in the desert, was picked up eating road kill. Thanks to Microchip, when scanned we were notified and received them back. She is devoted to partner, Isaac, who was dumped in the desert with her and we would like to keep them together if at all possible, but will split if necessary. She travels and rides well. She needs basic training, loves to run and likes attention, uses Dog Door. Really needs a Forever Home. Sofee is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations. Current medication: Pro-In and heart guard.
