Jasper Fundraiser (In Progress)
The past days at Arizona Weimaraner rescue have been most stressful. It was necessary to hospitalize Jasper our latest rescue with life threatening issues. Vet-Med handled his case round the clock as he fought for his life. With the help of your prayers and excellent medical care, he has made improvements each day, they were slow but continually. Monday he began trying to eat on his own, Tuesday his breathing was showing good improvement.
Wednesday was a great day when we visited he was able to stand outside of oxygen confinement a short time so we could pet him while he waged his tail; showing signs he wanted to come back with us. We will hopefully be able to bring him home soon and continue medical treatment with close supervision.
Jasper wants to thank all for prayers and donations to help with his medical expenses! The vets say his improvements are nothing short of a miracle.
We have a ways to go, however, we can see sunshine at the end of the tunnel. Every wag of his tail makes it all worth while!
We are looking at a very large bill from the emergency vet; it is estimated at $9,000.00. The Humane Society has not provided any financial assistance. This is the second Weim, Peanut in March now Jasper, that we took in from the Humane Society and they both were in very bad shape and we have spent considerable funds saving their lives.
We are 501c3 and your donations are tax deductible. We appreciate your support as we try to save as many Weims as we can.
Our Adoption Process

Loving, Highly Intelligent Dogs
Weimaraners are an athletic breed full of energy and personality. They are incredible loyal to their human family and commonly suffer from separation anxiety. These dogs do best with lots of exercise and enough room inside the home to play.
If you are considering adopting a Weimaraner, we recommend taking the time to research and understand the breed. You and your future grey will be happier when you understand the needs of this breed.
