A Letter from Peanut
This is Peanut writing to say thank you to everyone for the help and good wishes!! It has been a week now since a group of Kennel Techs came to take me for a walk,. Or so I thought.
My walk was to the main lobby at Heidie’s Village. When they opened the door and we entered there were a lot of people waiting and everyone squealed “Peanut”! They were waiting for me! There was a gentleman sitting on the couch with a big smile on his face. I walked over and put my head on his lap, looked into his eyes, and I knew it was my new Dad. Then a wonderful lady hurried over, hugged me and said, Peanut we are your forever home! I could not believe it was real at first. Then I saw a big box with my name on it filled with some of my favorite things and new ones too. It was soon time for me to take my trip home. My new sister got me and Dad comfortable in the back seat. My new dad rode in the back with me! My new Mom and Sis road in the front and we were on our way to my new home. It’s a big roomy place. I take naps every day with my Dad on the couch. Mom gives me lots of love and attention. I am the only dog, so I get and do anything. Every night when I go to bed with my Mom & Dad, I know “Dreams do come true." Love Peanut |
Loving, Highly Intelligent Dogs
Weimaraners are an athletic breed full of energy and personality. They are incredible loyal to their human family and commonly suffer from separation anxiety. These dogs do best with lots of exercise and enough room inside the home to play.
If you are considering adopting a Weimaraner, we recommend taking the time to research and understand the breed. You and your future grey will be happier when you understand the needs of this breed. |
