Urgent Surgery Fundraiser (Complete)**Update**
We are grateful for everyone who has helped support Peanut and were able to meet the fundraising goal! Stay tuned for a post surgery update next week! *** Peanut was abandoned and is in very bad shape. He has numerous puncture marks all over his body and we suspect he was attacked by coyotes. In addition to this, Peanut has developed a perineal hernia. A perineal hernia occurs when organs or tissue push through pelvic floor muscles into the abdominal cavity. It requires surgery right away to ensure there aren't further complications. The vets have provided us an estimate of $2,900 to perform the surgery and address his medical issues. Our mission at the rescue is to save every weimaraner possible and we need the help of donations in order to make this possible. Peanut deserves a furever home that will show him love and kindness. But we need to get him through this medical crisis first. Even small donations help and 100% goes to Peanut's surgery. |

Loving, Highly Intelligent Dogs
Weimaraners are an athletic breed full of energy and personality. They are incredible loyal to their human family and commonly suffer from separation anxiety. These dogs do best with lots of exercise and enough room inside the home to play.
If you are considering adopting a Weimaraner, we recommend taking the time to research and understand the breed. You and your future grey will be happier when you understand the needs of this breed. |
