Traveler

The AZWR has many dogs that are rescued every month; not all of them are able to be listed on the website. Our goal is to match each dog to the perfect family, so we encourage you to apply even if you don't see a weimaraner right now. Applicants on our wait list receive higher priority on dogs as they are rescued.

We are happy to announce Traveler is ready for adoption. He is approximately 2 years old. He came in from a neglected situation, thank you so much to Shelly who drove out of state to save him. He has had no training, he was tiesd outside with no attention. He is doing great his foster family but is still shy. He is smart and is learning quickly, but is still leary of men. Traveler has quickly adapted to being in a loving home and gets along well with his 4 legged sister and human foster parents.
