River

The AZWR has many dogs that are rescued every month; not all of them are able to be listed on the website. Our goal is to match each dog to the perfect family, so we encourage you to apply even if you don't see a weimaraner right now. Applicants on our wait list receive higher priority on dogs as they are rescued.

River is a 5 year old Male. He has a dog door and knows basic commands as well as Leave It. Graduated from the PetsMart puppy class. We likes to be included in the family. He is a big boy, so older children would be best. He has not been around cats and is selective with other dogs (he is okay at the dog park but prefers to play ball with his people. He loves riding in the car and go places.
